The Pro Fighter X is manufactured by China Coach Limited. It has 24Mbits of standard memory expandable to 64Mbits. It includes real time save functions, auto gold finger cheats, and compatibility to run files from CD with optional CD Drive. The Pro Fighter X and its family of copiers have a reputation of high failure rates due to poor quality components. The unit have a built in Smart Card interface which makes it a high priced yet nice companion to a Smart Card. The unit is capable of using gold finger cheats and can be connected to a PC. It can run DSP games, and has built in SRAM, the contents of which are preserved when the unit is turned off.

Comment 1: China Coach Limited (CCL) introduced the Pro Fighter X in 1994, an SNES copier which comes standard with 24Mbits, but can be expanded up to 64Mbits RAM. Its main specifications include built in 256K SRAM, and DSP compatibility. It's functions include real-time save, auto gold finger cheats, and compatibility to run files from CD with the optional CD drive.

I love this copier! The GUI is super simple to use (and nice looking) and it runs all the ROM formats that I have tested it with (.smc, .swc, .fig, Professor SF formats, and even Multi Game Hunter files!!). When you load a ROM it automaticly asks you if you want to patch it with cheat codes! It works very well too, I have tried it with over 20 different games and each has run flawlessly. The only disadvantage I found was the lack of a parallel port, meaning no direct transfers from a computer. The hardware also seems a little shoddy, but it didn't give me any problems.

When you turn on the copier it displays self test results for the internals and the cartridge (if inserted). The utilites menu lets you backup carts, rename, delete, copy, format disks (up to 1.6M), and transfer SRAM. The realtime save menu lets you load and save at any time durring a game and use slow motion! There is an optional Smart Card interface for handling of Game Boy and Game Gear games with the Super Smart Card.

CCL (China Coach Limited) introduce the Pro Fighter X Turbo, a SNES copier which can be expanded upto 64Mbits. Its specifications include built in 256K SRAM, DSP compatibility, and a PC compatible parallel port. Its functions include real time save functions, auto gold finger cheats, and compatibility to run files from CD with the optional CD drive. The range of Pro Fighter copiers are renouned for their high failure rates, due to being made from low quality components. As you can see from the picture, there is a Smart Card interface for handling of Game Boy and Game Gear images. The latest released "Pro Fighter X Turbo 2" had built in support from DSP
